Space Instruments has designed, developmed, built and delivered quantities of Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer elebtronics to JPL for use by Astronauts in Space Station.

The Qudrupole Mass Spectrometer is a portable, hand held, battery operated. It measures element from mass 1 to 150 with 0.1 amu resolution. It contain an RF power supply producing a 10 MHz sine wave, 3200 volts PP, over 6A PP. It includes a PIC microcontroller, an electrometer measuring down to 10 femto couloms and a charge sensitive amplifier.
